The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and Ole Miss Rebels face off on Saturday in a Week 4 college football showdown at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
Ole MIss comes into this game with a perfect 3-0 record and they have been quite impressive in all three games. In the last game against Georgia Tech, the offense scored 42 points, and the defense pitched a shutout. Under center for Ole Miss is Jaxson Dart and he completed 10 of his 16 passes for 207 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. Ole Miss’s offense has been strong and is ranked 17th in college football, but even more impressive has been the defense. Ole Miss is giving up 4.33 points per game which is second best in all of college football.
On the other side of this matchup is Tulsa who sit with a 2-1 record overall and they have won two games in a row. Tulsa opened up the season with a 40-37 defeat at the hands of Wyoming in overtime. Since that point they have knocked off Northern Illinois 38-35 and Jacksonville State 54-17. Davis Brin is under center for Tulsa and in the last start, he completed 27 of his 35 passes for 424 yards and four touchdowns. Keylon Stokes is having a big season catching nine passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.
