Outside of George Blanda, who played for 26 seasons between the quarterback and kicker positions and retired at age 48, Tom Brady ended his career with a record 23 total seasons in the NFL.'

Behind the former New England Patriot/Tampa Bay Buccaneer are Vinny Testaverde and Earl Morrall, who each played for 21 seasons.

Rounding out the top five are Drew Brees and Brett Favre, who each spent 20 seasons in the league.

Aaron Rodgers has the highest mark for active quarterbacks, playing for 19 seasons so far in his illustrious career. Joe Flacco and Matthew Stafford are right behind the current New York Jet, with 16 and 15 seasons played apiece.
