Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s'lines around the Jets vs. Panthers odds, and'make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Jets scratched out a 20-17 home win over the Washington Commanders in the preseason opener last Saturday, but a majority of the scoring came from reserves. The biggest highlight might have been buzzer-beating 56-yard field goal from PK Greg Zuerlein, as he looks to hold off PK Austin Siebert for the starting job.

The Panthers rested QB Bryce Young, while veteran backup QB Andy Dalton was sidelined due to injury. That meant QBs Jack Plummer and Jake Luton faced the New England Patriots, and it went as well as expected. Carolina lost 17-3, and managed just 7 1st downs, 62 rushing yards and 89 passing yards while being sacked 5 times.

Carolina also had undisciplined play, committing 9 penalties, and it never got into the red zone.
