NBA Draft Player Props & Odds: Expert Picks for 1st Roundiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Some of the best players in college basketball will have their names called tonight, and we're offering our top NBA draft player props based on the best NBA odds.

After months of the 2024 NBA Draft being called one of the weakest of all-time, it all comes to a head tonight when the Atlanta Hawks likely select Zaccharie Risacher, the favorite to go No. 1 by the NBA draft odds.

With the draft slated for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN, ABC) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., fans across the country will be welcoming new rookies to their favorite teams in hopes of them bolstering their NBA championship odds.

But for as bad as the draft class may be on paper, there's no knowing what these players will develop into after being selected in the first round. That's why I'm diving into three of the most polarizing players for my NBA draft best bets to go along with my NBA draft predictions.

NBA draft prop bet predictions for Wednesday

One of the most dominant college basketball players of the last decade, projecting where Edey goes in the NBA draft isn't easy. At 7-foot-4, he's the size of the CN Tower, but there's obvious concerns about his ability to move and keep up at the NBA level.

Still, he averaged 25.2 PPG, 12.2 RPG, and 2.2 BPG while leading Purdue to the national championship game. He may not have the highest ceiling, but Edey can provide a team with a rim protecting big who eats up boards, sets screens, and possesses surprising touch.

Nobody doubts Edey more than I do, but in a draft class like this, it makes a lot of sense to take him top 15 – he could develop into a Jonas Valanciunas type of starting five. These odds imply a 56.14% probability he goes before the 16th pick with a $10 bet paying out $17.81.

Best odds: -128 via BetMGM

Entering the draft tonight, I'm not sure any draftnik is confident in where Shannon will end up going. He was recently found not guilty on charges of rape and aggravated sexual battery, and with his name legally cleared, he could be a surprise lottery pick.

For Illinois last season, Shannon was one of the most prolific scorers in the country putting up 23 PPG and scoring 26-plus in six of seven NCAA Tournament games. He's a 6-foot-6 wing with the downhill explosiveness to get to the rim and an improving 3-point game.

While these odds are somewhat long, in this class in particular, I think the NBA is going to value a guy who can get to the bucket and play hard-nosed defense. The odds only imply a 34.48% probability he goes in the top 20, but a $10 bet pays a $19 profit.

Best odds: +190 via FanDuel

This prop focuses on a pair of five-star recruits. Holland was the No. 1 recruit last season, but chose to play for G League Ignite. Dillingham wasn't much further down the rankings and opted to go to Kentucky – I wonder who got paid more?

While both are viewed as borderline top-10 picks – and top-20 locks – I think Holland hears his name first. Both have the potential to be electric scorers, but it's the size and defense of Holland that I think gets him selected earlier. He's 6-foot-7 with a 6-foot-11 wingspan and a non-stop motor.

For as exciting as Dillingham is with the ball in his hands, he's just 6-foot-1, 164 pounds, and is harder to project for draftniks because of his defensive concerns. These odds imply a 55.56% probability Holland goes first and a $10 bet pays out $18.

Best odds: -125 via DraftKings
