Panthers vs. Oilers Player Props & Odds Game 6: Friday's Stanley Cup Final Prop Betsiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Edmonton Oilers return to Rogers Place for a chance to extend the Stanley Final for a third time against the Florida Panthers as we dive into Panthers-Oilers player props for Game 6 based on the best NHL odds.

On Friday, the Edmonton Oilers put their 4-0 record in potential elimination games on the line when they host the Florida Panthers for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Thanks to a once-in-a-generation performance from Conn Smythe odds' favorite Connor McDavid, the Oilers won Game 5 5-3 in Florida. Game 6 takes place at 8 p.m. ET, and the Oilers are the favorites to extend the series to a decisive Game 7.

The Panthers are still the Stanley Cup odds' favorite by a wide margin, but that gap has decreased substantially in the last two games.

Along with our expert Panthers vs. Oilers prediction, here are our best player props and NHL picks for Gam e 6.

Top Panthers vs. Oilers prop bets

I don't know if you've heard, but McDavid is on a heater. The biggest games, and there's only one bigger than Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, require the most clutch players to elevate their level. And there's nobody more clutch than McDavid. Against all odds, McDavid has tug-of-warred his team back into the Stanley Cup Final. He scored eight points across Games 4 and 5, setting a record for most points in consecutive Stanley Cup Final games.

At this point, I don't know how the Panthers can slow him down. A man clearly possessed by something greater than 99% of the world's population, McDavid will be amped and in the mood to take center stage in the most important game of his life. The Oilers' captain averages an outrageous 2.27 points per game at home in the playoffs and has 42 points in the postseason, just five short of Wayne Gretzky's record of 47. The +130 odds represent an implied probability of 43.48%, and a $10 bet pays a profit of $13 if it hits.

Matthew Tkachuk was inarguably the Panthers' best player in Game 5. He finally broke his nine-game scoring drought with a second-period snipe and added a helper for good measure. While it was all for naught, Tkachuk's diving goal-line save with under 20 seconds remaining showcased his desire and sheer will to win. He'll need every ounce of that no-quit attitude in Edmonton on Friday.

Tkachuk leads the Panthers in points (22) and assists (16). He has eight assists in 10 road games during the playoffs and has a helper in two of the last three games. He did everything but get on the scoresheet in Game 4, but Stuart Skinner thwarted him several times. The +105 odds imply a probability of 48.78%, and a $10 bet pays a $10.50 profit.

Best odds: +105 via Betway

Bouchard soars into Game 6 on the back of a three-assist Game 5. Bouchard has four points in the last two games, but, somewhat surprisingly, he didn't register a shot in Game 4 or 5. He blocked several shots from the point and is still firing the rubber despite his goose egg in the last two games.

I expect the defenseman to let his Bouch bomb fly on Friday. The Oilers will want to create havoc in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, and Bouchard won't hesitate to be the catalyst. He is averaging 2.9 shots per game in the playoffs and fired at least three shots on goal in two of the first three Stanley Cup Final contests. The -143 odds come with an implied probability of 58.85%, and a $10 bet pays a profit of $6.99.

Best odds: -143 via Betway
