Arizona Diamondbacks ML over Washington Nationals (+120)
This has been an odd series so far. In the series opener, the Nationals had the better starting pitcher on the mound (Jake Irvin) but ended up losing as the offense couldn't get to Slade Cecconi. And then last night, the Nationals were starting Patrick Corbin which meant they were huge underdogs. But somehow, the Diamondbacks weren't able to hit Corbin while the Nats got to Brandon Pfaadt. So for tonight's game, I'm taking a shot with the team starting with the lesser starting pitcher in hope that the trend continues. The Snakes are starting Ryne Nelson, who owns an ERA and xERA north of 5. He will be countered by lefty MacKenzie Gore who has blossomed into a solid starter in 2024. Also, the Nats could be without CJ Abrams tonight. I'm taking the better overall team at plus-money odds.
