Oilers vs. Panthers Player Props & Odds Game 2: Monday's Stanley Cup Final Prop Bets
Oilers vs. Panthers Player Props & Odds Game 2: Monday's Stanley Cup Final Prop Betsiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Florida Panthers shut out the highly vaunted Edmonton Oilers offense to take a 1-0 lead into Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, and we're offering our Oilers-Panthers player props based on the best NHL odds for Monday's game.

An opening goal less than four minutes in by Carter Verhaeghe was enough to see the Florida Panthers prevail in Game 1. Despite being heavily outplayed for most of the game, the Panthers snatched the 3-0 shutout victory thanks to Sergei Bobrovsky's excellence. It was the first time the Oilers failed to score in the 2024 postseason.

Game 2 starts at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla (ABC). The Panthers' Stanley Cup odds shortened considerably after winning the opener, and, akin to Game 1, the Edmonton Oilers are the Game 2 underdogs and must find a way to solve their Bobrovsky dilemma.

Here are our best  Oilers vs. Panthers player props and NHL picks for Game 2.

Top Oilers vs. Panthers prop bets

I'll continue returning to the well, backing the superstar until the odds are adjusted and shortened for Connor McDavid's shot prop picks. Despite McDavid firing at least four pucks on goal in five of the last seven contests, including six in Saturday's Game 1, our best sports betting sites still offer plus-money odds for him to get it done again in Game 2.

Like everything that runs smoothly for an extended period, I expect something to come along and derail it at some point. However, the usual temper-your-expectation rules do not apply to McDavid, who did everything in his power to get the Oilers on the scoreboard in Game 1.

He had six shots for the second time during the playoffs, putting Bobrovsky under constant pressure. While I don't expect another six-shot outing, he should be able to obtain his fifth Over in the last six contests. At +116, FanDuel offers the best value. The odds imply a 46.30% win probability, and a $10 bet pays a profit of $11.60 if it hits.

Best odds: +116 via FanDuel

The Oilers did an excellent job establishing a forecheck and spending extended periods in the Panthers' zone. Had it not been for Bobrovsky's heroics, that game plan would have been a blueprint for success against the NHL's best defensive team.

Evan Bouchard's presence at the point was instrumental in Edmonton's concerted offensive zone pressure. He let loose from the point and fired four shots on goal. If the Oilers are to even the series at one, he'll have to replicate his Game 1 performance.

Bouchard has hit the Over in 11 of 19 playoff games, averaging 3.1 shots per contest. At -122, FanDuel offers the best value of our sports betting apps. Those odds imply a probability of 54.95%, and a $10 bet will pay a profit of $8.20 if it hits.

Best odds: -122 via FanDuel

Like the McDavid shot prop, I'm riding Sam Bennett 's hot streak until the wheels fall off. It's not just Bennett's four-game point streak that draws me to the wager, but his performance level since returning from a five-game injury absence earlier in the postseason. Since the start of the Eastern Conference Final, Bennett has seven points in as many games, including five in his current streak.

Bennett was considered a role player earlier in his career but is now one of the Panthers' most relied-upon forwards, not only for his ability to pester and annoy but also for his offensive production. The plus-money +120 odds offered at DraftKings imply a winning probability of 45.45%, and a $10 bet will garner a $12 profit if he notches at least one point.

Best odds: +120 via DraftKings
