Korda Shortest U.S. Open Betting Favorite Since Tiger Woods

Before Nelly Korda hits a shot in this year's U.S. Women's Open, she'll still be talked about in the same breath as Tiger Woods, at least in sports betting circles.

Korda enters the U.S. Women's Open as a +300 betting favorite on Caesars Sportsbook, giving her the shortest pre-tournament betting odds of any golfer (male or female) entering the U.S. Open since Tiger Woods was a +175 favorite at the 2009 U.S. Open, according to data from GolfOdds.com, Tour-Tips.com, and research.

Woods finished sixth in the 2009 tournament.

Korda's short odds come as no surprise, as she's been on a hot streak that makes even Scottie Scheffler envious. Korda has won six of her last seven events, with a top-10 finish in the lone event she didn't win during that stretch.
