Pelicans vs. Kings Player Prop Prediction, Odds: Top Picks for Williamson, Fox, Sabonisiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Sacramento Kings host the New Orleans Pelicans with NBA playoffs seeding at stake, as we offer our best Pelicans vs. Kings player props based on the best NBA odds.

With just a few days left in the NBA regular season, every game is crucial for both NBA championship odds and playoff seeding in each conference. That's especially true in the Western Conference ahead of Thursday's clash between the New Orleans Pelicans (47-32) and Sacramento Kings (45-34), which tips off at 10 p.m. ET (TNT) from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif.

The Kings have the most at stake on Thursday, as a win in their final three games could elevate their NBA Play-In Tournament odds or even avoid the bracket altogether. If they lose out, though, they could fall as far as 10th in the Western Conference – a virtual death knell to their playoff hopes.

The Pelicans are likely staring down the No. 6 seed in the West, but they'll need to take care of business to avoid getting jumped by the Kings, Phoenix Suns, or Los Angeles Lakers. Can their star players step up on the road?

In addition to our Knicks vs. Celtics player props, here are our best Pelicans vs. Kings player prop prediction and NBA picks (odds via our

Pelicans vs. Kings prediction

Since Brandon Ingram (kn ee) was sidelined on March 21, the Pelicans have struggled to stay afloat in the Western Conference playoff race. But Williamson is doing his best to fill the void.

In Ingram's first game on the bench, Williamson delivered a dud with just four points and four assists. Since then, he's averaged 26.8 points and 5.3 assists – both above his season averages – and cleared this prop total in four of those eight games.

He faces a particularly juicy matchup against the Kings, who are allowing the fourth-most points (25.14) and fifth-most assists (4.66) to opposing power forwards entering Thursday. At these -102 odds via FanDuel, I like our chances of cashing here.

Ever since their days together at Kentucky, Fox and teammate Malik Monk have been “better together” in every sense of the phrase. And, fittingly, Fox hasn't been quite the same since Monk (knee) hit the shelf in late March.

In six games since, Fox is averaging 27.7 points, which is a tick below his consensus scoring total (28.5) across our best sports betting sites. That's also carried by a 40-point effort last Friday, as he's averaged 25.2 points in his other five games and fallen below 30 points in four of them.

I'm tacking on his rebounding total to this wager, too, because of a tough matchup against a Pelicans team allowing the fewest rebounds (5.01) to opposing point guards. You can freely play the Under on Fox's scoring prop without that addendum, but I enjoy having the extra cushion without paying into his juiced rebounding market.

If Fox isn't grabbing rebounds for the Kings, who will? All signs point to Sabonis, who has been an absolute beast on the boards all season but especially as of late.

The three-time All-Star leads the NBA in rebounds per game (13.8) and has grabbed double-digit boards in an incredible 36 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 27 – averaging 15 rebounds per game in that stretch. He's been even better over the last month, averaging 15.3 rebounds since March 1 with 15-plus in 11 of 21 contests.

Sabonis is corraling 16 boards per game over his last five starts – twice clearing 20 rebounds – and he faces a favorable matchup against New Orleans' Jonas Valanciunas, whose rebounding totals (8.9 RPG) have dipped dramatically this season. That's to say nothing of the absence of Larry Nance (personal), who won't suit up for Thursday's contest.

This is only a three-star wager given the gaudy total, but these +115 odds via BetMGM are by far the best on the market. Because of that, this is well worth the wager even at such a high number.
