The New York Jets will play the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 of the NFL regular season on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
The New York Jets are 0-1 this season after they lost to Baltimore by a score of 24-9 last week. New York outgained Baltimore 380-274, but went 2-14 on third down conversions and turned the ball over twice. Joe Flacco threw for 309 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Jets. Michael Carter rushed for 60 yards, while Corey Davis caught six passes for 77 yards for New York. The New York defense allowed 274 yards and forced one turnover in the loss.
The Cleveland Browns are 1-0 this season after they defeated Carolina by a score of 26-24 in Week 1. Cleveland jumped out to an early lead, but ended up falling behind in the fourth quarter. The Browns were able to make a 58-yard field goal for the win with only a few seconds left in the game. Jacoby Brissett threw for 147 yards and one touchdown for the Browns in the game. Nick Chubb rushed for 141 yards, while Donovan Peoples-Jones caught six passes for 60 yards for Cleveland. The Cleveland defense allowed 261 yards and forced one turnover in the win.
