Week 3 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a showdown between the UL Monroe Warhawks and No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide. Trailing 7-0 after the first quarter, the Warhawks scored 35 unanswered points to walk out of Week 2 with a 35-7 win over the Nicholls Colonels.

Even though Texas gave Alabama a challenge last week, I don't expect the same from UL Monroe. After all, the Warhawks were crushed by those same Longhorns, 52-10, in Week 1. Throw in UL Monroe losing 10 straight games against the SEC and it's easy to see why Alabama is heavily favored.
At the end of the day, the Crimson. Tide are on a completely different level than the Warhawks. Alabama is 10-0 straight up in its last 10 games against Sun Belt opponents, leading me to predict that Nick Saban's squad will win its 11th straight on Saturday.

Erring on the side of caution, I'll take UL Monroe on the spread.
