Buffalo at Coastal Carolina 9/17/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Buffalo Bulls and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers face off on Saturday in a Week 3 college football showdown at Brooks Stadium.

After so many successful years it looks like the Buffalo Bulls are going through a rebuild. Buffalo opened up the season with 31-10 defeat by Maryland and in the last game against Holy Cross, they were defeated 37-31. In the last game the offense did look really good, but the pitching couldn’t make any stops. Quarterback Cole Snyder completed 23 of his 34 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Mike Washington did have a big game with 12 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Justin Marshall had a big game catching five passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. The defense gave up over 200 yards on the ground and that is going to need to be cleaned up here.

On the other side of this matchup is Coastal Carolina and they sit with a 2-0 record. Coastal beat Army 38-28 in the first game and in the last game they beat Gardner Webb 31-27. In the last game, Grayson McCall completed 22 of his 30 passes for 308 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Wide receiver Sam Pinckney had a big game catching seven passes for 87 yards. The running game wasn’t super strong in the last game, and that is going to need to be something that will need to be improved upon here. If the running game can get going, this should be an easy win.
