Two Mid-American Conference rivals meet on the court Tuesday when the Central Michigan Chippewas (13-9, 8-2 MAC) pay a visit to Akron and the James A. Rhodes Arena to play the Akron Zips (17-5, 9-1 MAC). Central Michigan defeated Bowling Green in double overtime 77-76 on Saturday for its 5th consecutive victory and is tied for second in the MAC with Toledo, one game behind Akron. The Zips defeated Toledo 77-70 on Friday night for their second straight victory and are 9-1 in MAC play. Central Michigan does not have any players on its injury report, while Akron will play without Nate Johnson.
