Providence has 14 wins on the season and is in striking distance of tournament consideration but will need more quality wins. This game in Villanova would certainly qualify as a quality win. The Friars come into this game ranked 2nd in the Big East in scoring offense. They are 3rd in field goal shooting percentage overall and fourth in 3-point shooting percentage in the conference. The Friars are also fourth in the conference in 3-point field goals made per game. The Friars are second in scoring defense this season in the Big East as well. They are second in field goal defense and fourth in 3-point defense. The Friars are fifth in the Big East in total rebounds per game and second in turnover margin.
