The USC Trojans (8-12, 2-7 Pac-12) hope a new month brings different results because January got ugly for them in a hurry. USC went 2-6 during its first month of Pac-12 play and now carries a five-game losing streak into Thursday's home meeting with the Oregon Ducks (14-6, 6-3).
Oregon lost to Arizona last time out, and has dropped three of its last four games entering this matchup. The Ducks are listed as short road favorites, indicating that this might be USC's best chance to return to the win column.
