The Illinois State Redbirds are on the road as they travel to face the Evansville Purple Aces Saturday afternoon. Illinois State dropped Belmont 77-67 on the road in their previous contest Tuesday night, covering the line as a 1.5-point favorite. Evansville was downed 70-63 on the road by Northern Iowa Tuesday night, though they did cover the line as a 13.5-point underdog, in their previous contest. In the all-time series between the programs, the Redbirds own a 48-19 advantage and have taken the last two meetings. That includes a 72-53 home win in the most recent matchup on February 26, 2023.

Illinois State shot 45.6% from the field, including eight of 22 from three-point range, and held Belmont to 40.7% shooting in the contest. Myles Foster led the Redbirds with 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the win.
