Sacramento Kings (25-18) vs. Dallas Mavericks (24-20)

The 2023-24 NBA season continues Saturday, January 27, with ten games around the Association, including the Western Conference showdown at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, so here’s the best Kings vs. Mavericks pick.

Sacramento takes on Dallas for the second time this term. Back in November, the Kings beat the Mavericks 129-113 as 1.5-point road underdogs, extending their ATS winning streak to three games in this series.

The Sacramento Kings (25-18; 23-20 ATS) ended their four-game losing streak last Monday, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 122-107 as 8.5-point home favorites. Three days later, the Kings edged the Golden State Warriors 134-133 but failed to cover a 1.5-point spread at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Harrison Barnes went off for 39 points last Thursday, while Domantas Sabonis posted a line of 18 points, 13 assists, and eight rebounds. The Kings made 52.7% of their field goals (22-for-48 from deep) and posted a terrific 33/10 assist-to-turnover ratio.

“The way you have a high-powered offense is all five guys are going to have to make sacrifices at times,” Barnes said, crediting his team's unsel fishness.

The Kings are 13th in the NBA in adjusted offensive efficiency (117.4 points per 100 possessions). They shoot 56.2% from inside the arc (7th) and 37.3% from beyond the 3-point line (11th). The Kings need to improve on the other side of the ball, as they surrender 116.8 points per 100 possessions (17th) on 54.6% shooting from inside the arc (16th) and 39.4% from downtown (29th).
