The Los Angeles Kings face the Colorado Avalanche with both teams off to strong starts to the season. The Kings have a 22-14-9 record and are in fourth place in the Pacific Division but have only won two of their last 10 games. The Avalanche have a 31-14-3 record and with two wins in a row, they have the second-best record in the Central Division. Drew Doughty and Michael Anderson have combined for 6.7 defensive point shares and 174 blocked shots while Matt Roy, Vladislav Gavrikov, and Jordan Spence have combined for 6.8 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit.
