The Winnipeg Jets face the Toronto Maple Leafs with both teams looking to build off of great seasons. The Jets have a 30-11-4 record and with eight wins in their last 10 games, they have the best record in the Central Division. The Maple Leafs have a 23-14-8 record and are in third place in the Atlantic Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their conferences and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Jets are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.24 goals per game. Nikolaj Ehlers, Cole Perfetti, and Kyle Connor have scored 48 goals and 46 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Nino Niederreiter, Vladislav Namestnikov, and Adam Lowry have combined for 26 goals and 47 assists while defensemen Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk have added 11 goals and 40 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Jets, allowing only 2.29 goals per game with only 10 goals in the last five games. Dylan DeMelo and Josh Morrissey have combined for 7.6 defensive point shares and 145 blocked shots while Brenden Dillon, Neal Pionk, and Dylan Samberg have combined for 7.7 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has stepped up with a .925 save percentage and a 2.17 goals-against average on 988 shots with 21.3 goals saved above average.
