Now, let's make a narrative argument. This will be the first-ever home AFC championship game at M&T Bank Stadium. The atmosphere is going to be electric, especially against the defending champs. Mahomes has only played one game in Baltimore with fans, which was the game Kansas City dropped a 36-35 classic in 2021.
During an appearance on ESPN's ManningCast this past regular season, Mahomes admitted that game was one of the rare occasions that he actually had to use non-verbal signals for his offensive line because it was so loud.
