The Minnesota Wild (18-20-5) are off to Tampa Bay to play the Lightning (22-17-5) on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Minnesota is coming off a 5-0 win over the New York Islanders on Monday. Tampa Bay, meanwhile, last played on Saturday and beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-1.
Minnesota is currently in 13th place in the West as the Wild are dealing with some cap issues due to the buyouts of Ryan Suter and Zach Parise which is impacting their roster. In their last game, Minnesota beat the New York Islanders 5-0 at home. The win over the Islanders snapped their four-game losing skid.
