A pair of programs from the Horizon League take the floor as they look to pick up a victory in a matchup from the Badger State. The Cleveland State Vikings are on the road as they travel to take on the Green Bay Phoenix Sunday afternoon. Cleveland State fell 88-80 on the road against Milwaukee in their previous game Friday afternoon, failing to cover the line as a three-point underdog. Green Bay downed IUPUI 68-58 on the road in their previous contest Wednesday night, covering the line as an eight-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Phoenix own a 51-36 advantage but the Vikings have won the last six meetings. That includes a 76-65 road win in the most recent matchup on February 23, 2023.

Cleveland State lost for the second time in three games as they were upended on the road by Milwaukee Friday afternoon. The Vikings fell to 11-7 overall and stood tied for fifth in the Horizon League with a 4-3 mark in conference play this season. Against Milwaukee, Cleveland State led 16-5 early and was up as many as 19 in the first half before settling for an 11-point lead at the half. The Vikings gave up a 14-0 run to start the second half to go down three, regrouped to lead by six with eight minutes to play, and then struggled down the stretch. Cleveland State gave up a 13-2 run to trail 74-69 with 4:40 remaining and never got even again. The Vikings shot 40.6% from the floor, including 10 of 27 from three-point range, and lost the rebounding battle 45-31. Tevin Smith and Tristan Enaruna (nine rebounds, five assists) each had 20 points to lead Cleveland State in the loss.

The Vikings are above a verage on the offensive end of the floor as they are 118th in the nation in scoring offense as they average 77.2 points per game this season. Cleveland State pulls down 36.6 rebounds a night while dishing out 12.4 dimes per contest. The Vikings are slightly below average on the defensive end of the floor, ranking 216th in the nation in scoring defense as they allow 72.6 points a game.
