Tulsa was dumped 84-76 at home by Charlotte in their previous contest Wednesday night, failing to cover the line as a 7.5-point underdog. In the all-time series between the teams, the Golden Hurricane own a 25-10 advantage, including an 81-79 overtime win at home in the most recent matchup on January 21, 2023.

Tulane suffered their second straight loss as they were upended by #24 Florida Atlantic at home in their previous contest Thursday night. The Green Wave are 10-5 overall and fell to 1-2 in conference play on the season heading into this game. Against Florida Atlantic, Tulane trailed by 11 early in the game but cut the margin to one at halftime. The Green Wave was down as many as 10 in the second half and by nine with 3:03 to play before scoring 10 straight points to take an 84-83 lead. Tulane had a chance to escape but gave up four shots on the Owls’ final possession, the last leading to a foul with under a second to play. Florida Atlantic hit two of three free throws to earn the win. The Green Wave shot 51.6% from the field, including 10 of 22 from three-point range, and lost the rebounding battle 42-33. Jaylen Forbes led the Green Wave with 28 points in the loss.
