The Kansas State Wildcats improved to 12-3 on the season and 2-0 in Big 12 play with an 81-67 win over West Virginia on the road Tuesday night. Cam Carter came alive in the second half to fuel the Wildcats. He scored 15 of his game-high 23 points as the Wildcats snapped a four-game losing streak at West Virginia. The Wildcats have now won nine of ten games.
“We won at LSU. Those were some pretty tough circumstances going into that one, and we were able to figure it out. I know we can win on the road. Tough teams win on the road. Some nights it doesn’t matter. Like, the other team is just better than you or things don’t work out. So, when you’re able to get them to work out it’s great and we go back to the drawing board.” KState head coach Jerome Tang said after the game.
