The AFC Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs will see the Miami Dolphins (11-6) and Kansas City Chiefs (11-6) meet at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on January 13, beginning at 8:00 PM ET.

The Chiefs head into the matchup after winning 13-12 over the Los Angeles Chargers in their last outing on January 7. In that matchup with the Chargers, Blaine Gabbert had 154 yards on 15-of-30 passing (50.0%) for the Chiefs, with no touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball five times for 46 yards. Lamical Perine took 21 carries for 76 yards (3.6 yards per carry), while adding three receptions for 33 yards in the passing game. Mecole Hardman had six receptions for 77 yards (12.8 per catch) against the Chargers.

Their last time out, the Dolphins lost 21-14 to the Buffalo Bills. Tua Tagovailoa went 17-for-27 with 173 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Fins against the Bills. In that matchup, Devon Achane had a 10-carry, 56-yard game (5.6 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. He tacked on one reception for five yards. Tyreek Hill caught seven passes for 82 yards (11.7 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
