Toronto Raptors (14-21) vs. Golden State Warriors (17-18)
The 2023-24 NBA season goes on Sunday, January 7, with the Toronto Raptors squaring off against the Golden State Warriors in the interconference showdown at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, with the tip-off at 8:30 PM ET.
Toronto meets Golden State for the first time this season, and the Warriors aim for their third straight victory over the Raptors. Golden State opens as a small 1.5-point home fave with a total of 237.5 points.

The Toronto Raptors (14-21; 16-18-1 ATS) are coming off Friday’s 135-130 defeat at the Sacramento Kings. After a couple of wins to the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-121 and at the Memphis Grizzlies 116-111, the Raptors outscored the Kings 73-58 in the second half but couldn’t complete a huge comeback.
Toronto made 54.0% of its field goals at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. The Raptors went 13-for-37 from beyond the arc and 23-for-27 from the charity stripe, but they allowed a whopping 21 triples to the Kings, who handed out 25 assists on the night. Immanuel Quickly led the way for Toronto with 20 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, while Scottie Barnes had 20 points and six dishes.
“When you’re down 20, you have a decision to make, if you’re goi ng to quit or are you going to continue fighting?” Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković said. “Our group stayed together and they continued fighting. We found a way to get back in the game.”
The Raptors are 12th in the Eastern Conference, just half a game behind the No. 10 Atlanta Hawks. Toronto ranks 17th in the NBA in adjusted offensive efficiency (114.7 points per 100 possessions) and 15th in adjusted defensive efficiency (115.7).
