The Cleveland Cavaliers have played solid basketball since losing two starters, PF Evan Mobley and PG Darius Garland, to long term injuries. The team has gone 5-1 in their absence heading into Saturday night's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite a strong night from Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs fell 119-111 to the red-hot Bucks. Mitchell scored 34 points to go along with six rebounds and nine assists while big man Jarrett Allen scored a career-high 30 points with 12 rebounds and six assists in the contest. Unfortunately, the Cavs were unable to overcome dreadful shooting from long range with the team hitting just 14% of their 43 3-point attempts.

“Dame is also a guy who can singlehandedly take over a game,” Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. “You can’t stop Giannis and him, so you have to figure out how to balance your defense. It's a challenge.”

Despite a rash of injuries that has plagued the team all season, the Cavaliers are very much in the playoff hunt heading into the New Year. The Cavaliers come into this game with the 24th-ranked scoring offense in the NBA. They are 17th in field goal percentage and just 25th in 3-point shooting. The Cavs are an impressive 8th in scoring defense in the league thus far. They are 9th in opponent's field goal percentage and 10th in 3-point defense. The Cavs are just 20th in turnovers per game on the season and 18th in total rebounds per game.

Key Injuries: PF Evan Mobley and PG Darius Garland are out.
