A Saturday night college football showdown will feature a matchup between the Fresno State Bulldogs and the USC Trojans from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Bulldogs (1-1) are the favorites to win the Mountain West Conference and are led by senior QB Jake Haener. On Saturday, Fresno State allowed a touchdown on the final play of the game during a 35-32 home loss versus Oregon State.
Fresno State took a 32-29 lead with 65 seconds remaining on a 4-yard touchdown pass from Haener to Erik Brooks. Jordan Mims carried 21 times for 122 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs.

Oklahoma transfer QB Caleb Williams shredded the Stanford secondary for 341 passing yards and four touchdowns. Pittsburgh transfer WR Jordan Addison hauled in seven catches for 172 yards and found the end zone twice for the Trojans.
