New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles – 7/23/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. On Friday it was the Yankees that were able to secure the 7-6 victory.

The Yankees sit with a 65-30 record overall and after losing two straight games on Thursday, they got back on the right track on Friday. They let the Orioles back into the game in the 7th inning, but the Yankees secured the victory. The Yankees offense and pitching are both ranked 1st in baseball. The Yankees offense is averaging 5.36 runs per game and the offense was the difference on Friday. Aaron Judge has hit 36 home runs and driven in 77 RBI’s so far this season.

The Orioles sit with a 46-47 record overall but this is a big stretch for this team if they want to stay in the playoff race. The pitching wasn’t good enough in Game 1 of this series, and that will need to change in this game. The Orioles are averaging 4.2 runs per game which is 20th in the league. The top offensive player for the Orioles has been Anthony Santander and he has hit 16 home runs and driven in 49 RBIs.
