One of the top QBs in the league will be on display when Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants on Monday, December 25, 2023.
The Eagles enter the matchup after losing 20-17 to the Seattle Seahawks in their last game on December 18. Hurts threw for 143 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions on 17-of-31 passing (54.8%) for the Eagles in that matchup against the Seahawks. He also added 13 carries for 82 yards and two rushing touchdowns. D’Andre Swift took 18 carries for 74 yards (4.1 yards per carry), while adding two receptions for one yard in the passing game. A.J. Brown led the receiving charge against the Seahawks, catching five passes for 56 yards.
The Giants’ last game finished in a 24-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Tommy DeVito went 20-for-34 with 177 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the G-Men against the Saints. He rushed four times for 36 yards. Saquon Barkley carried the ball nine times for 14 yards. He caught two passes for 23 yards. Darius Slayton registered 63 yards through the air after four catches (on eight targets).
