The Jumpman Invitational tips off on Tuesday with a high profile matchup between the Florida Gators (7-3, 2-7-1 ATS) and the Michigan Wolverines (6-5, 5-6 ATS). Florida is coming off a closer than expected win over East Carolina, defeating the Pirates 70-65 as 14.5-point favorites. Michigan just defeated their in-state opponent the Eastern Michigan Eagles, winning 83-66, but did not cover the 23.5-point spread as favorites. These teams did not meet last season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 EST from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and can be found on ESPN.

Florida brings in a small amount of momentum heading into the Jumpman Invitational. They have won their last three games, but they were double digit favorites in all three games. Florida does not have a statement win yet, as their best win came over Pittsburgh as a five point favorites on a neutral court. Florida gets another chance to make a big splash here, playing Michigan on national television. In their last game, Florida was led by Walter Clayton Jr. with 22 points in the win over East Carolina.

Clayton Jr. is a 6'2 junior guard and leads the team in scoring with 16.5 PPG, and is also the top shooter on the team with 22 made threes on 36.7% shooting from deep. Clayton Jr. has scored 22 or more in two of his last three games. Tyrese Samuel is an athletic big who can run the floor, he is a 6'10 senior forward adding 13.9 PPG and a team high 8.4 RPG. Samuel is not a threat to shoot from t he outside, but is a strong offensive rebounder and rim protector. They play a four guard lineup, as Samuel is surrounded by shooters and playmakers on the outside. Zyon Pullin is a 6'3 guard who attacks the basket and scores 12.7 PPG while leading the team with 5.0 APG. Riley Kugel is a volume shooter, he only shoots 29.2% from three on his 28 attempts, but still adds 12.4 PPG. Will Richard rounds out the offense with 9.7 PPG as another 6'4 guard.

The Gators are currently ranked 38th overall according to KenPom. Their offense ranks 32nd in the nation in efficiency, while their defense ranks 53rd. Florida utilizes their speed and four-guard lineup to fly up and down the floor in transition, they play at the 16th fastest tempo in the nation.
