NBA Player Props Today – Best Brandon Ingram Props

It’s NBA Wednesday and we get a slightly smaller slate than usual, with only 9 games as opposed to the normal 11-13 we’re used to. The Pacers travel to Milwaukee as the highlight matchup of the night and a revisit of the NBA In-Season Tournament semifinals. Meanwhile, Cameron Johnson of the Nets returns to Phoenix to face his old team while the Lakers are on a back-to-back against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs. You can get our NBA picks for tonight’s biggest games, but for now, let’s look at my favorite NBA player prop.

Brandon Ingram (NOL) over 23.5 points (-115)

Brandon Ingram is averaging 0.67 points per minute and a median minute output of 35, while seeing an average of 35.7 minutes per game on the road. Our projection conservatively comes to 23.64 points. What put me over the edge is the matchup. Washington ranks last in defending the pick-and-roll ball handler and that is Ingram’s bread and butter. He’s averaging 6.4 points per game in the pick-and-roll alone, ranking in the top-60 percentile in the NBA. The Wizards are bottom 3 in the NBA in defending the mid-range and bottom 10 defending the paint (non-restricted area). Ingram’s hit this in 60% of road games this season. This is a 1u play for me.
