Favorites went 20-9 against the spread (ATS) in Weeks 12 and 13 — we knew that wouldn’t last. Heading into Monday Night Football in Week 14, underdogs have gone 8-4-1 ATS and 6-7 straight up on the week.
The biggest upset was the New England Patriots (3-10) ending their 5-game skid with a 21-18 victory as 5.5-point ‘dogs against the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) on Thursday Night Football. The'New York Jets'(5-8) and'Denver Broncos'(7-6) also helped bettors out with a couple of plus-money wins when they pulled off upsets as 3-point underdogs Sunday against the Houston Texans'(7-6) and'Los Angeles Chargers'(5-8), respectively.
