A non-conference game in the state of Connecticut is set for Monday night when the Yale Bulldogs (6-5, 3-6 ATS) travel to take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats (7-2, 3-5 ATS). Yale just defeated Colby-Sawyer, a lower division team, In their last D-1 matchup, Yale lost at home to Fairfield 75-71 even though they were favored by 16.5 points. Quinnipiac is coming off a home win over Navy, winning 71-68, narrowly missing the cover as 4.5-point favorites. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 EST from M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Connecticut.

Yale is coming off a game against Colby-Sawyer, a Division III basketball team. Naturally, Yale won easily over their D-3 opponent, but lost their last game against Fairfield when they were heavy favorites. Yale was favored at home by 16.5 points, but lost to the Stags as they allowed Jasper Floyd to score 25 points in the upset win. Yale has played a relatively easy schedule as of late, they have been favored to win in their last eight games. Against Fairfield, the Bulldogs were led by forward Matt Knowling with 14 points in the loss.

Yale is led in scoring by Bez Mbeng with 14.3 PPG. He is a 6'4 junior guard and also leads the team in assists with 3.2 per game. Mbeng has scored 18 or more in four of his last six games, and also leads the team in steals with 1.8 per game. Danny Wolf is the next top scorer with 12.6 PPG, he is a 7'0 forward that leads the team in rebounding with 8.7 per game .
