The struggling Washington Wizards head to Philadelphia on Monday night to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. The Wizards have lost four straight games and 13 of their last 14 entering play on Monday night. The 76ers remain one of the favorites to make a deep playoff push in the Eastern Conference this season and trail only the Celtics and Bucks for the top spot. The opening tap is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST.

The Washington Wizards are very much in the heart of a major overhaul of their team and a rebuilding in the hopes of becoming a playoff contender. As expected, the road has been rocky this season with the team having just three wins in total and losses in 13 of the last 14 games. Washington lost to these same 76ers last week, allowing 50 points to the 76ers' big man Joel Embiid in a 131-126 defeat. On Friday night, the Wizards made it four losses in a row thanks to a 124-97 thrashing at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets. Kyle Kuzma, one of the few remaining holdovers from last year's team, scored 17 points while Bilal Coulibaly added a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds in the defeat. The Wizards shot a miserable 18% from 3-point range.

“I think we got a little frustrated with the lack of shot-making,” Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. “Six for 33 is a tough night for us for on 3s. I thought we allowed them to run out and get some fast-break points and it affected our defense.”

The Wizards have been effective on the offensive end this season, but some of that can be attributed to large deficits and playing against second and third units. They are 10th in the NBA in points per game this season. The Wizards are sixth in field goal percentage but just 22nd in 3pt-field goal percentage. They have been efficient with the basketball, owning the fourth-best assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA. Defensively, it has been another story for Washington. The Wizards are last in points allowed this season. They are also last in defensive field goal percentage. They have been slightly better on the perimeter, ranked 18th in 3-point defense. Washington is also dead-last in rebounding.

Key Injuries: G Landry Shamet (ribs), G Ryan Rollins (knee), G Johnny Davis (calf) are all questionable. G Delon Wright (kne e) is out.
