The Winnipeg Jets face the Anaheim Ducks with both teams headed in opposite directions this season. The Jets have a 15-8-2 record and with three wins in a row, they have leaped into third place in the Central Division. The Ducks have a 10-16 record and with only one win in their last 10 games, they have the second-worst record in the Pacific Division. Both teams look to improve in the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a good one.

The Jets are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.24 goals per game. Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, and Cole Perfetti have scored 34 goals and 40 assists to lead the top two lines but the entire offense has stepped up. Nikolaj Ehlers, Nino Niederreiter, and Mason Appleton have combined for 19 goals and 26 assists while defenseman Josh Morrissey has added five goals and 17 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Jets, allowing only 2.68 goals per game including only four goals in the last three games. Josh Morrissey and Dylan DeMelo have combined for 3.6 defensive point shares and 75 blocked shots while Neal Pionk, Brenden Dillon, and Dylan Samberg have combined for 3.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has been great with a .914 save percentage and a 2.47 goals-against average on 548 shots with 5.9 goals saved above average.
