The Toronto Raptors (9-12, 11-10 ATS, 10-11 O/U) battle the Charlotte Hornets (6-13, 7-12 ATS, 12-7 O/U) in an Eastern Conference bout on Friday evening. The Raptors were dealt a home loss by the Heat on Wednesday. The Hornets just dropped a road game against the Bulls. Toronto went 4-0 against the Hornets last season.

The Toronto Raptors begin a mini two-game road trek in this one. Toronto is stumbling, losing four of their last five games. The only win in that span was a home victory against the Suns. They have since lost a 119-106 home decision to the Knicks followed by a 112-103 home loss to the Heat on Wednesday in a bout that had the Raptors marked as a four-point favorite. They have only covered the spread in two of their last five decisions.

Pascal Siakam netted 30 points in the defeat on Wednesday. The 29-year-old power forward is consistently producing, sinking at least 20 points in three consecutive games, and leads the squad with 20.5 PPG and 5 APG. He averaged 30 points in four meetings against the Hornets last year. Scottie Barnes is having a solid year. The 22-year-old small forward has scored at least 23 points in two of his last three performances and has recorded an average of 19.2 PPG accompani ed by 9.1 RPG on the season. O.G. Anunoby had one of his best games of the season on Wednesday, collecting 23 points. The veteran forward is posting an average of 15.1 PPG on 47% shooting.

Toronto is struggling on the road, going just 1-4 in their last five decisions including a win against the Pacers and a loss to the Cavs. They have covered the spread in five of nine road games on the year. Toronto is scoring an average of 110.8 points on the season, ranking them 24th. They are conceding an average of 112.5 points, placing them 13th.
