The Army Black Knights picked up their third straight win last week to improve to 5-6 on the season. Army's streak started with a huge upset over then 17th ranked Air Force, 23-3. On Saturday after the Black Knights honored their 33 seniors on Senior Day, they ran all over Coastal Carolina to take a 28-21 win. Army rushed for 365 yards as a team on the day in 62 attempts for a 5.9 average per carry. Tyson Riley led the way with 112 yards rushing on just 12 carries. QB Bryson Daily added 94 yards on the ground on 22 carries.

Army's defense held Coastal Carolina to 18 first downs and just 4-of-11 on conversions. Defensive back Quindrelin Hammonds had an interception as well to squelch another drive. The Black Knights special teams unit got into the act as well with a blocked punt by linebacker Brett Gerena turning into a scoop and score by defensive back Jabril Williams of 37 yards. It was the second straight we ek that Army has blocked a punt and the 11th blocked punt in the last three seasons.

Army comes into this classic matchup as the hotter team and with a high-profile win over Air Force. They are a team that is led by an opportunistic defense and a slow-paced offense. The Black Knights are 124th in the nation in total offense. They are 73rd in rushing and 131st in passing, just ahead of Navy and Air Force at the bottom of the passing rankings. They are 68th in third-down conversions. The Black Knights are 59th in total defense this season but just 126th against the run. They are 25th against the pass but that shouldn't be an issue against the run-heavy Midshipmen. The Black Knights are 76th on third-down conversions. Army is near the bottom of the rankings in turnover differential, ranked 127th.

Key Injuries: RB K. Udoh (undisclosed) is questionable.
