The Miami Heat play host to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night in an Eastern Conference showdown from the Kaseya Center. There isn't much to separate these two in the standings, as Indiana sits in seventh place and Miami sits in sixth place. The Pacers have lost two in a row coming into this one, while the Heat were able to get back into the win column to snap their own their own three-game losing streak. In a meeting just a few days ago, the Heat won by ten points in one the year's highest-scoring games and would love nothing more than to repeat that performance, at least on the offensive end. Fans will want to make sure to tune in for this weekend matchup.

The Pacers are in a two-game losing streak and while that doesn’t sound terrible, a tough part of the schedule has them searching for a chance to get back into the win column. Being on the road isn’t likely to help matters, especially considering they are only 3-3 away from home, though getting to play in the same city in back to back games means a little less travel. The defense has been a major concern this season but if they can find a way to turn the tables on that side of the ball, the blueprint at least exists for this team to find success. Games against other playoff contenders await, only serving to add to the importance of getting things back on track.

The Pacers have two injuries within their most recent report, one of which appears like it could be impactful. Tyrese Haliburton (knee) is questionable for this one and as the und isputed leader of this team, would represent a difficult void to fill.

The Pacers play at one of the fastest tempos in the league, leading towards having one of the best offenses. They rank first in nearly every offensive category and against a Heat defense that has struggled, they appear confident that they can repeat their offensive performance. If Haliburton can’t go, it’s likely that won’t be the case and it’ll fall on the seven other double-figure scorers to figure things out. The defense remains the number one concern and against a strong Miami team, it’ll all start with controlling this game on the glass and limited second-chance opportunities for the opposition.
