The Flyers are having a promising season but hope their offense improves, scoring only 2.91 goals per game with only eight goals in the last five games. Travis Konecny, Joel Farabee, and Sean Couturier have scored 25 goals and 23 assists but the rest of the offense has struggled. Only four skaters have six goals or more and opponents can limit the top-heavy offense as a result.

The offense has struggled but the defense has stepped up, allowing only 2.87 goals per game. Nick Seeler and Sean Walker have combined for 3.3 defensive point shares and 98 blocked shots while Yegor Zamula and Louis Belpedio have combined for 2.2 defensive point shares to give the Flyers two great defensive pairings. In addition, goaltender Carter Hart has been great with a .909 save percentage and a 2.68 goals-against average on 384 shots with 2.2 goals saved above average.
