The San Jose Sharks face the New Jersey Devils with both teams looking to improve on rough starts. The Sharks have a 5-16-2 record and are in last place in the Pacific Division while the Devils have an 11-9-1 record and with three wins in a row, have leaped out of the bottom of the Metropolitan Division. The Sharks are having a rough season with their offense struggling, scoring only 1.64 goals per game with only two goals in the last two games. Tomas Hertl and Fabian Zetterlund have scored 10 goals and 15 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has struggled.
