The Washington Wizards will get a second crack against the Orlando Magic in Orlando on Friday night. On Wednesday night, the Wizards lost their 10th out of 11 games in a 139-120 loss to the Magic. Kyle Kuzma led the rebuilding Wizards with 24 points while Deni Avdija added 22 points and Jordan Poole chipped in with 19 points. The game was fairly tight throughout the first half and into the second half before the Magic pulled away via the fastbreak. Washington is now just 3-15 on the season following the loss.

“At half we were down 10, still within striking distance, but they got it going from 3 in the second half,” said Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. “We tried to amp up the pressure a little bit which opened up some 3s, but they move the ball. They're set and ready. We just have to get there with a little more urgency.”

The Wizards have a long roa d ahead as they try to get back to relevance following the trading of several key veterans over the offseason. They are 9th in the NBA in points per game this season. They are seventh in field goal percentage this season but just 23rd in three-point field goal percentage. The Wizards have been giving up points in droves, ranked 29th in points allowed per game. They are 28th in defensive field goal percentage and 13th in three-point defense. The Wizards are 14th in turnovers per game and dead last in the NBA in rebounding this season.

Key Injuries: G Ryan Rollins (Knee) is out. SG Delon Wright (Knee) is out.
