A pair of Western Conference teams take to the hardwood in Bluff City looking to put one in the win column. The Utah Jazz are on the road as they travel to take on the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night. Utah comes in off a 114-112 home win over New Orleans Monday night to sweep a two-game home set, winning outright as a 6.5-point underdog. Memphis was drubbed 119-97 at home by Minnesota in their previous game Sunday night, failing to cover the line as a 6.5-point underdog. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Jazz own a 67-37 advantage and took both meetings so far this season. That includes a 127-121 road win in the most recent matchup on November 10.

Utah won their second straight game as they edged the Pelicans at home to sweep a two-game home set. The Jazz entered Tuesday 6-11 on the season and stand fourth in the Northwest Division, 6.5 games behind the Timberwolves for the top spot. Against the Pelicans, Utah led by as many as 10 in the first quarter, by eight after one and by two at the half. The game was even after three quarters and the Jazz led by as many as seven in the fourth though they had to hang on after going scoreless the final 2:42 of the contest. Utah shot 42% from the field, including 17 of 48 from three-point range, and overcame New Orleans shooting an even 50% in the contest. Keyonte George led seven Jazz players in double figures with 19 points in the win.

The Jazz comes into this contest 12th in the league in scoring offense with 114.2 points per game this season. Utah is 1st in rebounding by pulling down 47.1 boards per night while standing 8th by dishing out 26.9 assists a night. The Jazz are 25th in the league in scoring defense as they allow 120.6 points per contest. Lauri Markkanen leads the Jazz as he puts up 23.7 points plus 8.7 rebounds per contest. Jordan Clarkson (18.1 points, 4.9 assists), John Collins (14.4 points, 8.4 rebounds) and Collin Sexton (11.9 points) are capable scoring options.
