The Missouri Tigers have a decent record at 5-2 overall, but are 0-7 against the spread as they have been a terrible bet this season. The Tigers have been favored in every game this season, and took a bad loss to Jackson State, losing by one as 22.5-point favorites. Their last game was closer than expected, as they only defeated Loyola Maryland on their home floor by eight. Senior Noah Carter led the Tigers in that game with 18 points and six rebounds.
The Tigers are led in scoring by 6'3 Sean East II with 15.4 PPG. He came off the bench last season for Missouri, and has significantly improved his scoring from 7.3 per game. East II has scored 17 or more in his last two games. Nick Honor is a 5'10 shooter, he leads the team with 21 made threes on 50% shooting, and averages 13.0 PPG. Noah Carter is a tough 6'6 forward, he leads the team in rebounds with 6.3 per game, and adds another 13.o PPG. There is a sharp drop in scoring after Carter, as 6'3 shooter Caleb Grill is the next highest scorer at just 7.6 PPG.
Missouri currently ranks 90th in the nation according to KenPom. They rank 93rd in offensive efficiency, and 106th in defensive efficiency. The Tigers play slow offensively, they rank 288th out of 362 Division I teams.
