The Portland Trail Blazers are still adjusting to life after Damian Lillard, they lost eight straight games before finally defeating the Jazz at home. The Blazers were led by Jerami Grant in the win, he had 30 points and only missed three shots from the field. Portland is currently 12th in the West, and will need to start winning more games to stay relevant during the playoff race.

Jerami Grant leads the team in scoring with 22.8 PPG. Grant is a bouncy 6'7 forward who is a nice piece, but probably not the caliber of player you want leading your franchise. With that said, he has stepped up his game recently, as he is averaging 25.1 PPG over his last ten games. Malcolm Brogdon came over in the Lillard trade, he was added to the starting lineup recently and is averaging 17.7 PPG and a team high 5.7 APG. Shaedon Sharpe is a 20-year old 6'5 guard with explosive athleticism, he adds another 16.9 P PG with 5.3 RPG. Deandre Ayton sat out last game with back soreness, but is expected to be back for this matchup, he adds 12.6 PPG and 10.8 RPG.

Due to injuries the Blazers were forced to go deep into their rotation for two starters against Utah. They started rookie Toumani Camara as a 6'7 wing, and 6'9 Duop Reath as a bruiser inside. Scoot Henderson has only played in six games, and is averaging just 7.8 PPG. Portland ranks dead last in the NBA in offensive efficiency, and their defense only ranks 24th according to dunksandthrees.com. The Blazers play slow offensively, their tempo only ranks 25th in the league.

Injury Report:

Questionable: Deandre Ayton

Out: Anfernee Simons, Robert Williams III
