Two division leaders face off on the ice Saturday in the Big Apple when the Atlantic division leading Boston Bruins (14-1-3, 31 points, 1st Atlantic) take on the Metropolitan Division leading New York Rangers (13-3-1, 27 points, 1st Metro) at Madison Square Garden. Boston will play the Detroit Red Wings on Friday afternoon before heading off to play the Rangers on Saturday. The Bruins defeated the Florida Panthers 3-1 in their most recent game on Wednesday. New York will play the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday before facing the Bruins on Saturday. The Rangers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 on Wednesday. Boston will play without LW Milan Lucic and C Morgan Geekie. New York will play without D Adam Fox and C Filip Chytil
