The Philadelphia Flyers face the New York Islanders with both teams looking to improve in the Metropolitan Division. The Flyers have a 10-8-1 record and are in the middle of the division. The Islanders have a 7-6-5 record and with a 3-4-3 record in November, they have fallen to the bottom of the division. The Flyers are off to a strong start this season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.26 goals per game. Travis Konecny and Joe Farabee have scored 19 goals and 11 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well.
