The Carolina Panthers arrive in Tennessee in what will be the first of three straight road games for the 1-9 club. Carolina dropped its third straight game last Sunday in a 33-10 loss to the visiting Dallas Cowboys. The Panthers had cut a 17-3 halftime deficit to 17-10 after three quarters but watched as the Cowboys scored the game's final 16 points. Rookie quarterback Bryce Young continued his rough first NFL season finishing 16-of-29 passing for just 123 yards. Young also threw his third pick-6 in the last three games and fumbled in the loss. With the loss, the Panthers are now assured of their sixth-straight losing season.

“Not getting the results you want is frustrating,” Panthers coach Frank Reich said. “So I'm frustrated most of all for (our coaches and players), but I'm frustrated for our fans as well. … You want change to happen overnight, but sometimes it takes longer than y ou want. But you have to keep your head down and be strong-willed and keep your vision every day and be able to fight your way through the tough times.”

The Panthers hope to pick up just their second win of the season and first on the road this year in this matchup with the Titans. Carolina is 31st in the NFL in total offense thus far. They are just 29th on the ground and 28th through the air. The Panthers are 20th in the NFL converting on third down. Defensively, the Panthers have played well despite their record. They are sixth in total defense this season. The Panthers are 22nd against the run and sixth against the pass. They are also 12th in third down defense. Not surprisingly, the young team has struggled with the intangibles this season. The Panthers are 28th in turnover differential this season and 29th in penalties.
