The Florida State Seminoles are looking to go undefeated in the regular season for the first time since 2013. Florida State has narrowly escaped defeat on a few occasions including a 31-29 road win against Boston College and an overtime win against Clemson. They were marked 14-point favorites in a 27-20 home win against Miami Florida two weeks ago and were huge 48-point favorites in a dominating 58-13 home win against North Alabama last week. FSU has already punched its ticket to the ACC Championship game. They have covered the spread in two of the last five games. The squad dipped one spot to #5 in the recent edition of the AP Top 25.

Jordan Travis has a leg injury and is out for the remainder of the season.  The senior QB is having a dominating season, recording 2755 passing yards and a 20:2 TD to INT ratio. Tate Rodemaker will be under center. The junior QB has collected 376 passing yards with three TDs and no picks.

Florida State usually runs in 50% of their plays. Trey Benson is having an outstanding year. The junior RB has netted at least 80 rushing yards in two of his last three games and has accrued 743 rushing yards on 6.2 yards per rush on the season. Florida State has three strong WRs with at least 400 receiving yards led by Keon Coleman. The junior WR has brought in 615 receiving yards. The Florida State offense is averaging 451 total yards per game. They have cooled down a bit, scoring only 24 and 27 points in their last two ACC bouts.

The Seminoles' defense is one of the best in the entire country. The group held Clemson to 24 points, Wake Forest to just 16, and Pittsburgh to only seven points. They have allowed 24 or fewer in all but one game this season, allowing 29 to Boston College. The pass defense is marked 15th while the rush defense isn’t quite as strong, placing 47th.

Florida State is scoring an average of 40.1 points, marking them seventh. The defense is conceding an average of 16.9 points, good for 11th.
