The Toronto Maple Leafs face the Minnesota Wild with both teams looking to wrap up the Global Series on a high note. The Maple Leafs have a 9-5-2 record and with three wins in a row, they have leaped into third place in the Atlantic Division. The Wild have a 5-8-2 record and are in the middle of the Central Division. Both teams are looking to improve in their divisions and the upcoming game in Sweden should be a great one.

The Maple Leafs are having a great season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.50 goals per game with 13 goals in the last three games. Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and John Tavares have scored 31 goals and 32 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Mitch Marner, Calle Järnkrok, and Max Domi have combined for nine goals and 26 assists while defensemen Morgan Rielly and John Klingberg have added two goals and 15 assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.44 goals per game. Morgan Rielly and T.J. Brodie have combined for 2.4 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. The one bright spot has been the play of goaltender Joseph Woll, who has a .908 save percentage and a 2.91 goals -against average on 272 shots with 1.4 goals saved above average.
